The Powder Group events are intended for the personal and artistic growth of their attendees. The Powder Group is not a school and does not offer accredited programs of any type.

Fee Payment – Event fees may be paid for by Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover *personal check or money order. Checks and money orders should be made payable to The Powder Group. Event Fees must be paid in full prior to event. *Bank charges associated with returned personal checks are the responsibility of the check writer and will be charged back as such.

One-on-One/Private Contracted Events – Full payment for One-on-One time is required at the time of booking. Payments for One-on-Ones or Private Contracted events are non-refundable. In the case of cancellation by client, payment may be used toward a re-booking of the time as a One-on-One, participation in other The Powder Group events (not including The Makeup Show), or toward the purchase of The Powder Group products. The funds are usable for one year from the date of the original confirmed event date. Due to the nature of the scheduling or our presenters time for private sessions, we are unable to allow more than two rebookings of the time. If a second and third event date are cancelled, the entire amount of the days rate is forfeited and no further re-bookings are possible. No-Shows are considered cancellation. In the case that The Powder Group must cancel such an event, a full refund of paid funds will be returned to the client, or a 20% discount will be returned to the client if they choose to rebook the time.

Event Fee Refunds – If you are unable to attend an event that has already been paid for, you will receive a 100% program-credit for the event fee. This program-credit may be used for one year from the date of issue. Cash or credit card refunds are not available for event fees.

Cancelled Events – If for any reason, including weather related concerns, The Powder Group must cancel or reschedule an event after you have made payment, you will receive a full refund of the event fee, or you may choose another event of equal value or a program-credit at your discretion.

Quantity Discount – For our premier season when you register for two or more events at the same time, or if you and a friend register together for the same event, you will receive a 20% discount off the prices of any event for which you are registering. There’s no limit to the number of events this discount applies to. *Discounts may not be combined (maximum discount on any single event is 20%) and are offered for the Fall 2003 season exclusively.

Students of Makeup Artistry – Students who are currently enrolled in, or have recently graduated from (within the past six months) an ongoing program of study at an accredited makeup school may register for special offers with The Powder Group. Offers vary based on program and may not be available on all programs. Please contact info@thepowdergroup.com for more information. Proof of enrollment in makeup program required.

Change of Artist or Date – The Powder Group makes every effort possible to maintain the published schedule of events. Due to the nature of presenter work schedules, it may however be necessary to change the date of a particular event or to change the presenter. If this is the case, attendees will be given the option to reschedule or to receive a full refund of event fees.

Food and Beverage – The Powder Group does not provide food or beverage service at our events

Models – For events that require full body makeup or professional models, such models will be provided by The Powder Group. For other events attendees will conduct the makeup workshop using each other as models, please see event descriptions for specific details. If you would like to provide your own model for events, you are invited to contact The Powder Group for specifics of how to do so.
