The Artist Summit hands–on workshop program is open to professional makeup artist and students of makeup artistry only unless otherwise noted.
These events are at an additional fee of $95 for Workshops, $75 for TPG Pro members. Space is limited to 20 attendees and is allocated on a first–come, first–served basis.

Beautiful Skin of Color
This event will help you increase your confidence when approach any skin tone. Danessa will review the skills required for working on a variety of mid and darker skin tones, review important considerations for skin color and undertone, discuss in-depth foundation matching and choosing eye, lip and cheek colors appropriate to skin tone. Focus on color matching, highlight, contour and concealing skin to create a flawless canvas for women of color.

Faces on Screen - Film & Video Makeup
Basic training that guides the participants through the steps to creating clean, feature enhancing makeup for film and video production, including HD format. The workshop focuses on creating makeup looks that compliment the “character” and fit the storyline. We will also cover the importance of professional behavior, on-set protocal and keeping accurate continuity charts and records.

Basic Hair Styling for Makeup Artists
As every makeup artist needs to know more about other areas of the industry to maximize their career it is essential to understand the product, principles and fundamental techniques of hair styling. In this workshop Daven Mayeda brings you through simple products and techniques that you can use to develop a basic understanding of working with hair.

Bridal Artistry with Temptu Pro
Any artist who has worked a wedding understands the importance of understanding the essentials of bridal techniques. In this advanced airbrush workshop Temptu Pro Artist Danielle Fonseca will show various bridal looks that range from a soft and natural appearance to a vamped up dramatic look. In This workshop you will develop an understanding of how to achieve beautiful skin, contouring and highlighting, as well as eye shadow and eyebrow techniques. Artists will see how to work with various skin tones, tips for photography and how to make your look stay all day.

Every season we’re treated to catwalk creativity from the fashion capitals of the world and it inspires makeup for an entire season. In this workshop you will see how color, texture, looks and trends get taken from the runway and inspire editorial and beauty looks in magazine, celebrity and every womans application. You will learn what you need to do to become a part of fashion week, how to get involved as a part of an artists team following the design of a lead artist and keying your own projects and shows.

The Complete Bridal Workshop
This event is perfect for freelancers, salon makeup artists and anyone who wants to add makeup to, or perfect their work in the area of bridal makeup and see how to achieve basic bridal hair. You will understand the best products and techniques for long-lasting, beautiful bridal hair and makeup and understand how you can become an expert in both areas of the industry for your wedding clientele as the artist demonstrates hair and guides you through your own makeup application.
