    Ilde Goncalves Ilde Goncalves - Mastering Makeup for Photography
    Understanding the nuances of working in photography is a critical part of every makeup artists skill set. Whether bridal, commercial or editorial photography, this program will help you understand how become adept at understanding how the camera reads makeup so you can create perfected looks for still photography. The program will help attendees understand how their work should be adjusted for photographed live events as well. This program is what every artist who works with photographers needs to up their game and be sure every shot is a perfect shot. Ilde will demonstrate essential products and techniques for this work and attendees will participate in hands-on workshop, working on each other as models.

    Andrew Velázquez Andrew Velázquez - Red Carpet Beauty Explored
    Celebrity makeup artist Andrew Velázquez will explore the secrets of artistry for creating glamorous and modern red carpet looks. We’ll cover skin care to complexion and the nuances of highlight and contour, to color theory and the choosing and applying of color products to create a range of timeless, long wearing, beauty looks. Whether for a red carpet event or creating the most red-carpet ready bridal look, this program is for every artist looking to elevate their work in beauty. Andrew will demonstrate the essential products and techniques for this area of work and attendees will then participate in a hands-on workshop, working on each other as models.

In this session, The Powder Group founder Michael DeVellis takes you through his ten point marketing plan to get your business its strongest.

    Ilde Goncalves Ilde Goncalves - Editorial Artistry Explored
    Creating a makeup look — whether for print, digital, red carpet or even bridal — that is elevated to editorial level, requires an approach for design-ing work critical to the success of the design. In this design and technique focused session, makeup artist Ilde Goncalves will demonstrate his ideal editorial makeup and discuss product and technique required for makeup for photography in every area of work.

    Valerie Giraud Valerie Giraud - Mastering the No Makeup Makeup
    A truly natural makeup look requires more than simply using neutral shades. Understanding the design and decision-making process for creating a truly no makeup makeup look is more important than ever did to the demand of today’s cameras and lifestyles. In this session, Antonym Cos-metics Founder, Valerie Giraud, will take attendees through technique, tools and product choices to create one of the most requested makeup looks for any client.

    Dee Rouzan Dee Rouzan - Bridal Beauty Now
    Today’s modern bridal client is looking for more than just the most perfected version of herself, but the experience to go along with it. In this artistry and business focused session, New Orleans based Dee Rouzan, founder of Faces of Virtue, takes attendees though the what, when, why and how of elevated makeup design with a major focus on client experience, products and process that will create the perfect bridal beauty experience and look for every client, every time.

    Marietta Carter-Narcisse Marietta Carter-Narcisse - Makeup For Film
    Our Makeup For Film session will take attendees through the process of re-search, design and application when creating scripted character makeup designs. Renowned film makeup artist Marietta Carter-Narcisse (A Jazzman’s Blues, Boyz 'N The Hood, Eve’s Bayou, What’s Love Got To Do With It) will focus on researching, designing, applying and maintaining beauty makeup for film along with product and technique discussion and demon-stration.

    Andrew Velázquez Andrew Velázquez - Creating With Color
    Today’s makeup artists understand how to use color to help their client stand out and feel unique, while staying true to keeping a makeup design wearable and elevated. This session takes attendees though the use of col-or in multiple ways to enhance, create impact and keep in major focus on the skin care, client experience, products and process that will create the perfect bridal beauty look for every client, every time.

    Jalia Pettis Jalia Pettis - Clean Beauty For Global Tones
    The importance of makeup artistry as it relates to women of color is of vital importance as a beauty industry professional. Understanding basic makeup application for women with more or less melanin is key. The ability to cre-ate a clean beauty look is an integral part of our repertoire as Makeup Art-ists. This class will provide step-by-step technique in creating clean makeup for global skin tones.
