WITH JAMES VINCENT

Even in ideal times self care and wellness can sometimes take a back seat to our career, our fear, and our busy lives. A new year is often a time to reflect and look forward with fresh eyes and allow new behaviors and beginnings . As artists, we are focused on the push to success while actively listening and catering to the needs of others. The amount of empathy, understanding, motivation, and drive necessary to pursue your plan can start to feel overwhelming. When what is ahead of us seems uncertain or out of our control, it can become even more difficult to maintain even a minimum of our own wellness, and that can start to distract us from our self care.

 

With The Powder Group’s Mindful Action series with James Vincent, we will help you recenter, recalibrate, and set yourself on the path forward refreshed. In these all-new sessions developed especially for our TPG pros, we will get aligned and get going into the new year, ready for all that is ahead.

January 12 -Mindful Action: My Vision

In this session, exclusive to TPG, James Vincent will bring you through the process of activating and implementing the practice of wellness and alignment for the year ahead. Too many talk of resolutions, and for creatives, that can feel daunting. Here we will learn how to ease ourselves into what’s ahead and remember who we are. We will use some of TPG’s successful tools and implement an action plan where wellness works hand in hand with the personal and business goals you have set for yourself. We will ask questions, explore answers, and craft a personal vision and development plan towards self-care for the months ahead.

 

February 9 – Mindful Action: My Heart  

When what is ahead of us seems uncertain or out of our control, it can become even more challenging to maintain our focus and mindful practices that make our creativity and client connection easier to access and share. Self-love and self-care are essential practices as we prioritize our own wellness. Remembering who you are and what you stand for. The values, the vision, the ideas, and ideals that allow you to take your first steps into becoming the artist and person you wanted to be. By looking back, we can clear the path forward and find focus with self-love-focused tools to take you one step further to where you want to be.

 

March 9 – Mindful Action: My Community

Creatives choose a life that embraces originality and makes unique connections between unique ideas and diverse people. Creativity is about living life as a journey into seeing what is possible and planning how to get there. We often think about creativity as making something, but in fact, the root meaning of the word means ‘to grow’. In this session, we will explore the stages of creativity and address the importance of connection and community in self-care. At this time in our history, self-care is essential. This is a term that is so popular in our pop culture that, as people, we sometimes forget that self-care is a mindful act. In this session, James explores the different areas of self-care and breaks them down into actions and activations you can bring into your everyday routine.
